Shrink to either a necklace or ring?

Should I buy my girlfriend a ring or necklace. I really want to spend $ 600 on a flashy diamond ring. We have been together for 2.5 years. I have already bought a set of pearls, Tiffanys heart necklace and a bracelet of Nice, + a jeweler who is very good too. What do you think? No I'm asking you to marry me, but I get a ring!

If we are not asking to marry her then you definitely would not buy a diamond ring. when she sees it will think you're going to propose. bad idea.
