What is the best style of engagement ring in terms of future cleaning, replacing diamonds, etc?

I found my engagement ring perfect but a good friend recently told me all these reasons why it would not be a wise investment. It has a 1 / 2 – 3 / 4 carat in the middle, 2 diamonds smaller on each side, a small diamond next, then two channel-cut diamonds on both sides. My friend worked at a jewelry store and advised me against this ring (which he called a ring cluster) because he said that diamonds begin to fall, then it could be replaced by lower diamond quality indistinguishable to an untrained eye (reducing the value of the ring), and would be difficult to clean, etc. He pointed out that a loner is better because it is easier to clean, more less easy to discern quality, etc. .. is this true? If so, what are some good options for rings that are easy to maintain and clean? Thanks so much! I'm a girl too, lol To be clear

I think if I could would have been chosen by more diamonds … shines more! But do not let the potential effect drop your choice … you friend might be jealous of the possibility in such a beautful ring goes to his girlfriend … if the ring is the right ring know what you buy!
