The best cut diamond ring?

I've been dating this girl for over a year and in June I will move to where it is. We've been talking about marriage and I mean to propose, what is a womans best or favored by a cut 2 carat diamond?

If you are unsure, take her pick. Personally, I prefer square cuts, but many women do not. The wedding industry has said for years that should be a round brilliant all ads in magazines and jewelry in jewelry stores. My father was a gemologist to the last year or so, from what I've seen more jewels than the average person on the street has or ever. About the basis of what I've seen, and talk to others in the industry, the princess cut is actually a lot sparklier the round brilliant. But ultimately, comes down to personal preference.
