My wife found the diamond ring that is supposed to be a surprise for our 25th anniversary?

I was going through my fishing tackle box and found two-carat diamond ring that is supposed to be the surprise on our anniversary next year February 19, 2009 and is now ruined. She is letting all the tears flow now and I do not know what to do. What else can I do now? Everything she went fishing for loooking hand chain ornaments on the tree Christmas. What would you do in this case? I have nothing more to surprise her with next year. This is not supposed to happen.

Having a party anniversary this weekend with only two of you. It's close enough. Do not let it ruin the spirit of the donation. And, it was a surprise.
