Will you hand if the ring was the second?

I talked to my boyfriend who has accompanied me over 5 years (just to give some quick details) We're both 25, and agreed that this would be the year that they become engaged. He asked me if $ 2,500 would be a good deal for our first ring and said yes, of course, that would be amazing, so it is more or less what our budget is set. We could bring $ 2,500 (inc tax) to a jeweler and choose a new ring at a store of romantic / configuration, or: you can buy a used ring and reach a better agreement. There are offers on a local website called Craigs List, a sort of Ebay, but the cost-less. I only buy from someone who had a receipt of the ring, along with the validation that is what it is. My mother is very familiar with diamonds, with so many, so I take her with me, my kid to Sheck out. They authentication rings are priced at around of our budget that are valued at $ 3,000 + much higher. So what do you think USED? Haunted?

Would not mind if it is used, if the previous owner has not died tragically or have not yet divorced or not sick … I am superstitious and believe that things reach their own energy or any other material …. I just want to feel weird. If only one person who has not yet want more or that she was old and died I think it would be nice. PS only contradiction, there are many couples with new rings divorcing … So maybe it just doesn't matter. I do not think it would be "Taking Chances" if you bought a used ring.
