Engagement rings from Wal-Mart … Are they good to buy?

I'm in college and I want to propose to my girlfriend in March, while in Paris. I have a VERY limited income and realized price of engagement rings at Walmart. I just want the best for her and she told me many times not to worry about price, however I feel very bad if the quality is bad ring … How bad are the rings of Walmart.
