gold ring markings

How do I find out what certain marks on gold jewelry mean. EX, GLR, tha, RB. Thanx?
I have a ring that says GLR THA 10K. and one that RB says 10k. What do the letters?
They are called seals. Search "features jewelry" on Google or Yahoo. Also ask a jeweler in their city. 10K is, obviously, 10-karat gold. I have listed below a brief bibliography.
