I developed an itchy rash under my platinum band wedding suddenly after wearing for years.?

It is spots instead of all the way around my finger, and not usually susceptible to skin allergies. What is this and how can I get rid of it and still use my rings?

Could be dry skin? Try to take the ring and the times of applying lotion several days lettting soak in a few minutes before putting the ring again. Or take the ring off at night and apply Bag Balm to the affected area for several nights. If this fails, it could be another thing. Also, remove the ring at least once a day when you wash your hands and clean the ring on a regular basis. Please take the ring, the skin underneath stays moist after washing your hands, making it easier for nothing built under the ring to get into the skin.
