diamond ring tradition

What do you think of a woman who refuses to take the surname of her boyfriend?
She insists on keeping his name without hyphenation, or using maiden name as middle name. Insists that the adoption of its name is a way to show their commitment to be one. He wants the whole family have the same name if possible. She said she does not like this tradition. He said he accepted the diamond ring 2 carat and expensive dress and the wedding tradition. So really does not care about tradition.
Personally I think if a woman is not willing to take my name, he is admitting that she will not be spinning. She also is showing disrespect for me and my name. Personally, call the wedding. Hyphenation names is tolerable in the eyes, but unless there are circumstances attenuating, as children from a previous relationship, the bride should always be proud to show your name with her husband name as a surname. If the husband agrees to continue with things, if not married. Both people feel resentment at some point I assure you.
