Married since July and no ring / no wedding?

My husband and I have been together for 4 years, we have a baby and got married last July at City Hall. We had no ceremony at all, or even bring our own witnesses. I did so with the understanding that we would have a royal wedding, dress, cake, guests, etc. I also want a wedding ring-I ended up buying a counterfeit $ 25 on ebay and have been because I'm too ashamed of being without a ring in public when people know they just got married. My husband knows this bothers me, but that is not yet put forth an effort to make the wedding ring or pass. What gives and what I do?

He need not have a wedding …. sorry … but he's married! You can celebrate your marriage … but do not have a big fake wedding. It would quite a farce if you go through the white dress, bridesmaids, rings and vows, when two are already married. Now gives you a real wedding ring because he is married … that it is unreasonable, and would be very angry … but as I said, a wedding when you are already married is silly. My suggestion would be a big party to celebrate his marriage. Family have friends there … and serve the food and the cake … beautiful dress (but not a wedding dress) and her husband wear a nice suit (not a tux). Guests can bring gifts, but do not expect … this is not a wedding, is one of the parties, customers are not required to bring a gift. To give each gold rings other (in replacement of the crown using), and reaffirm their vows in front of your guests, you can do that …. but as we are legally married, you do not need a minister / priest and do not use the "Do you take this man …" Type of Feedback … Write your own. You already changed the binding votes. Have music, eat well, dance and celebrate with friends … but do not try to do this in a formal wedding … just a fantastic match in honor of their marriage, as he would if he ran away (which, I guess you did!)
