wedding ring origins
Jehovah's Witness and celebrations, are hypocrites?

Jehovah's Witnesses I'd like to answer this question, please. Do not you think is a bit hypocritical that the Jehovah's Witnesses to condemn the celebration of birthdays and holidays pagan in origin, while at the same time the application of the marriage customs of their wedding ceremonies are rooted in pagan idolatry? Almost all the factors involved in today's wedding in western culture has its roots in pagan beliefs. This includes the bride with a veil, the use of the ladies and the ushers, wedding cake, wedding rings, etc etc, if I do not believe the research. Why is this all ok with the Jehovah's Witnesses, but not other pagan festivals? Please explain? Answer sklemetti Just cannot can you? Stumped! AA said: The wedding rings did not originate with pagan beliefs. (Wrong!) Also, what really matters if they are pagan or not the time to have originated with the practice pagan religious. (This makes no sense at all)

Always bothered me. There is no biblical standard of not having birthday a matter of conscience.
